Waler!

Memorial Day weekend we headed over to the neighborhood pool and went swimming. (Ella refers to water as "waler".) Ella liked the pool as long as Daddy was holding onto her. She even put her face in the water once. Daddy tried to get her to kick her legs, but she didn't seem to understand. Nora liked it too. I think she thought she was in a big bathtub.

There was some excitement when Daddy found a frog in the pool. The frog was trapped so he let him out, but of course, he just jumped back into the pool. Mommy didn't care for that. Nora didn't mind:
